I am really struggling with launching my business. The first challenge was believing I am good enough. That took about six months of therapy to work out. Now, I am perfecting the few products I have and learning about legalities, such as cGMPs (current good manufacturing procedures) which is an overload of information! I often become overwhelmed and discouraged, but I will keep trying, because I believe in the plants and myself, and I want nothing less than high quality and safe products for all of you. It will be a slow&steady process, one precious step at a time. Thanks for your patience and support 💜

Spring has sprung, but I'm feeling sluggish. Fortunately, I have a dandelion root&leaf tincture to help cleanse for the new season! I know for many this little flower is a nuisance, but for me, it's an ally. I look forward to their arrival every Spring. Did you know that Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) is full of medicine? You can use the root, leaf, bud and flower! The entire plant is highly nutritious. The flower is high in antioxidants and can be used in salads, fritters and wine, just to name a few. The greens contain vitamins, antioxidants and minerals, including iron, calcium, magnesium and potassium. They can be eaten cooked or raw. I like making a dandelion pesto. The root is full of soluble fiber and can aid in digestion and liver problems, and is delicious as a tea. Dandelion has so many great health benefits; for more info, please check out the Dandelion monograph on the Beyouthentic blog (link in bio) So, the next time you are thinking about mowing over these treasures, stop and ask how you may benefit from it's medicine. If you are wild crafting, make sure they are free from pesticides, ten feet from the road (where they are exposed to toxic fumes), take only 1/3, and always ask permission!

There is great strength to be found in allowing vulnerability. I was reminded of this on the New moon in Pisces. Feeling overwhelmed with trying to finish my business proposal, catch up on homework and a family emergency, I cancelled the rest of my day and lay near my bay window, staring out to the old white Pine tree that comforts me during times of sorrow. Allowing the tears to flow, grieving for what no longer is while trying to prepare for the new to be born. Gentle tears became a belly aching cry as I released the fear and anxiety. Afterward, I took some White Pine essence&Bach's Rescue remedy and felt refreshed and stronger. I thought of my Women's day post last week and the strong women quote, and I felt I had to share that being strong doesn't mean never being vulnerable. It is okay to feel sad, scared and alone, it is what we do with those feelings that determine the outcome💚

Happy March!🌷Spring is almost here! Did anyone else have a crazy last week of February? I was in tears at one point with the challenges I had to face; but, at the end of the week, I did a 3 card spread on the Full moon& received the words, "Hold the path." I wanted to share them with you, in case you need to hear them💚

White Pine (Pinus strobus) is one of my favorites. I've used White Pine flower essence to help ease grief&depression. I find White Pine to be a dear friend, especially in the Winter, when depression can be harder to rise above.
